I have used Christmas Time as my Christmas card, copying it on pretty computer paper and decorating the envelope with Christmas stamps.




CHRISTMAS TIME

Christmas is the time each year,
That brings greetings of good cheer.
A time for remembering many friends,
For New Year's resolutions to begin.

Each day often brings a new surprise,
Cards and gifts opened before our eyes.
It's a time of gladness and blissful joy,
As children gleefully try out a new toy.

Families gathering round the dining table,
Giving Thanks that they are still able
To enjoy each other's joy and laughter,
As the clatter resounds above the rafter.

The grandchildren enjoy the playful mirth,
From parents who, for once, forget the dearth,
And the awesome task of providing daily living,
Midst the joyous spirit
